Foil blocking is used to transform many types of printed projects. Business cards, covers for books and brochures, annual reports, wedding stationery, mailers, letterheads and anything that requires a little extra.
In the process we make a metal die tool and use a converted Heidelberg press to apply heat to the die and transfer the metallic foil to the substrate. The technique requires years of experience to get right (of which we have 30) and some of the equipment we use is fifty years old… but is still without doubt the best.
